Our day begins at The Wire Mill with a delightful lakeside breakfast. Relax by the water, enjoy the tranquil views, and engage in meaningful conversations with other members as water-skiers glide across the lake. After breakfast, immerse yourself in the peaceful beauty of Ashdown Forest with a ramble alongside your fellow members, exploring the lush landscapes and discovering hidden gems.

Did you know? Ashdown Forest is the setting for the beloved Winnie the Pooh stories, so we'll make a stop at the famous Pooh Sticks Bridge and Pooh Corner

Next, we’ll embark on an exhilarating horse riding experience through the picturesque trails of Ashdown Forest. Whether you’re an experienced rider or a beginner, these scenic routes promise breathtaking views and a refreshing escape into nature. We’ll divide into two groups for horse riding, with the non-riding group enjoying card games, poker, or more socializing in the charming Forest Cabin near the stables. Feel free to bring snacks or drinks for this portion of the day.

This event is a rare opportunity to connect with both nature and each other while experiencing the enchanting beauty of Ashdown Forest. Don’t miss this chance to explore one of England’s most captivating landscapes.

Event Schedule:

• 10:00 - 10:30 AM: Arrive at East Grinstead Station or The Wire Mill (for those driving)
• 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Breakfast at The Wire Mill
• 12:00 - 12:30 PM: Drive to Ashdown
• 12:30 - 2:00 PM: Hike & Ramble through Ashdown Forest
• 2:00 - 3:00 PM: Horse Riding in Ashdown Forest
• 3:00 - 4:30 PM: Games & Spritz in the Forest Cabin
• 5:00 PM: Return to East Grinstead Station or drive back to London

For travel arrangements, please book your train tickets to East Grinstead station (just 45 minutes from London Victoria). Final cab and ride-share details will be coordinated in our WhatsApp group a week before the event. Driving is also a convenient option if you prefer.
